Description

The SF1 is known as the ultimate “short racing glove”, perfect for riding roadsters, sport bikes, and supermotos. Today, it makes way for the SF1 EVO, for what turns out to be more than just a simple evolution.

The SF1’s creation was originally driven by a straightforward concept: offering the best possible glove to our official Supermoto riders. In other words, a glove that echoed the characteristics of our best track gloves but with a short cuff for greater maneuverability on the dirt sections. The result was the SF1 winning no less than 14 Supermoto World Championship titles, 8 of which came at the hands of Thomas CHAREYRE!

But the specs of this model attracted riders well beyond this discipline, making it the perfect glove for many sport bike enthusiasts, whether their bikes are faired or not. They appreciated its compact size, streamlined design, robustness, and, lastly, its performance-oriented character.

Logically enough, the design of the SF1 EVO is part of our new generation of Racing gloves, notably the RFX1 EVO, whose overall look it emulates, at least in terms of the wrist section. It combines topside construction in Syntech Skin™, a modern material that offers characteristics superior to natural leather in terms of abrasion and tensile resistance, and an ultra-supple goat leather palm for the most precise and comfortable feel at the controls.

At the controls of a super-powerful roadster, precision is essential, but you also need high-level protection. Each protective element is therefore meticulously designed and placed within the glove, starting with the new AirGo PROTECH™ shells. Inspired by helmet technology, these include an outer rigid shell for shock resistance and a soft inner honeycombed shell to absorb any impact and favor airflow. Metacarpals are also protected on their upper section with a honeycombed TPU element that limits the damage in case of a fall. The palm also retains the honeycombed ERGO PROTECH® shell. The wrist and forearm are protected by a brand-new TPR Cuff Slider™.

Like a roadster that retains only essential features, the SF1 EVO, through its shortened cuff design, offers its rider just what they need for a high-performance glove. It’s sure to delight riders who love to push it to the limit, but want to manage their risks in case of a fall, while they savor their riding pleasure to the max.
