5_WarmTech™: FIVE thermal insulation that protects your hands from the cold felt on the handlebars.
Drawing on its specific experience of 2-wheeled riding, FIVE has developed and integrated a special 3D polyester fiber into your gloves that acts as a thermal insulator to keep your hands warm for as long as possible.
The temperature felt on the handlebars is greatly amplified by two factors: speed and humidity. An outside temperature of 10°C quickly turns into a felt temperature of 0°C when riding at 90km/h.
That's why it's essential to protect yourself from the cold with high-performance thermal insulation.
Placed between the waterproof-breathable membrane and the inner lining of your glove, this synthetic fiber used in the composition of 5_WarmTech insulation meets exacting specifications.
It must insulate against the cold without being too thick, so as not to impede hand movements and allow perfect grip of controls.
It achieves this by trapping the most effective insulator of all: air! This creates a real thermal barrier with the outside world, and helps retain the heat naturally emitted by your hands.
